Charging Policy

CAFETERIA CHARGING POLICY

Meals may be purchased on the line in the cafeteria.  Students will be allowed to charge only a hot lunch.  Students may charge for a period of one week (5 days) for an amount not to exceed $21.25, with payment due after the fifth day.  After the fifth day, students will not be allowed to charge. 

There will be no charging of the following items:

No charging for Gatorade, Tea, Bottle Water, Extra Milk, Ice Cream, or Snack Bar (These are extras)

Procedure to Collect Outstanding Charges

 

  1. Letter to parents advising them of charges
  2. Personal phone call and leave message if parents are not contacted
  3. Second attempt by personal phone call or personal visit
  4. Letter advising student’s parents that they will no longer be allowed to charge
